When it’s time to relax and unwind, treat yourself to a stay at River Escape, an inviting cabin located on the banks of the Little Red River. We are 8 miles from the Dam Site Camping area and Boat Dock on Greers Ferry Lake in the quiet town of Heber Springs, Arkansas. Whether you are indoors or out you can take in the beautiful views of the Little Red River. This river is known nationwide for its record Brown and Rainbow trout fishing. Boat rentals and guides are available to those who are so inclined. Or, just head down to the water (where there is an excellent shoal for fly fishing when the water is down) to our private partially covered dock, and start fishing. This clean comfortable cabin is the perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of daily life and just slow down. With an open-concept design, our cabin takes full advantage of its tranquil surroundings. When you’ve caught your limit, take an evening stroll down the quiet WildFlower community roads and you will be captivated by the peaceful sounds of nature surrounding you. We welcome you to make our home yours and enjoy your escape to the Little Red River.
Layout:
On the first floor, there are 2 bedrooms. The first bedroom includes (a queen bed, TV, and a view of the river/ deck access .) The second bedroom faces the front of the house and includes 2 twin beds and 1 roll-away twin bed in one of the closets. both of these rooms share a full bathroom which includes a shower/tub.
On the second floor, the master suite has a balcony with a view facing the river and it includes 1 queen bed,1 large bath with a walk-in shower, and a flat-screen TV as well as a loft with a workspace that can be used for a second roll-away bed which is stored in the bathroom closet for easy access.
The kitchen includes fully stocked cookware, an electric oven/stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, and microwave along with many small appliances one would expect at home.
Extra amenities include.
Washer/Dryer, WIFI/Internet, 3 TVs with DirectTV system, Games/Puzzles, a Wood burning fireplace, Charcoal, and Gas grill, wrap-around porch, private partially covered dock with live well and sink with fresh water and electricity.
We also have a nice sitting area for those who like a cozy fire pit with plenty of firewood to burn. Inside we provide fire starters to help with the fireplace and the fire pit.
The cabin also Includes starter house essentials such as laundry detergent, hand soap, dishwasher pods, an iron/ironing board, and a coffee bar with a K-cup coffee maker and drip coffeemaker including (starter K-cups, coffee filters, creamer, sugar, and tea packets.). We provide three rolls of good-quality toilet paper for each bathroom and two rolls of paper towels for the kitchen.

Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The host provided everything you could possibly need. They even had a little basket full for s’more ingredients as a welcome happy. You could tell the house was well-cared for and a lot of memories have been made there. The view was beautiful and we were so grateful to be able to stay there.

Summary: We had no issues on our stay. Communication with the host was great. Easy check in and check out. The house was clean, well organized, and in great shape. The dock is big and great for fishing and hanging out. We plan to stay here again.

Summary: I’m not sure how this property could have been any better. The host was extremely pleasant, the home was completely stocked with everything that we could possibly need, and there was so much outdoor seating. We grilled and enjoyed meals from the deck where saw over twenty different birds species just during our breakfast. The house had a view down to the water and to the boat dock-which was absolutely perfect. We never even left the property. The boys caught their limits from the dock, and I’m certain this will be a trip everyone will talk about for years to come.

Summary: House and grounds are well taken care of. Best stocked house we’ve been in. Very Clean… So relaxing to just sit on the dock and watch the fog roll down the river throughout the day. We caught lots of fish 2 of the 3 days we were there. Would definitely visit again.

Summary: This place is great! It’s very cozy and comfortable, it doesn’t take long to feel right at home. There were 5 of us and stayed 6 nights, plenty of seating inside and out. The view was amazing! Perfect spot on the river! I can’t say enough good things about this place! Would love to come back one day!

Summary: Very nice. We had 6 guests and only had beds for 5. All men. It would have been better with another bed. This is the second year we have rented the property for this annual golf outing. We rented two other properties nearby. We will most likely rent it again next year

Summary: This is one of the best houses I have stayed at on the river. It’s located on a great fishing spot with a big dock with shade. The house itself was very clean and perfect for me, my sons, and my Dad. Mike was excellent to work with as well. Will definitely come back!
